Mark Naymik is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter at WKYC in Cleveland, Ohio. He specializes in News, enterprise, and investigative stories. Naymik officially joined the 3News in July 2019.
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, he attended and graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. After graduating, he began his journalism career working for alternative weeklies in Cleveland and Philadelphia. He then went on to join The Plain Dealer in 2000.
In 2013, Mark became a columnist for Cleveland.com. In addition, he produced web-friendly stories and videos for Cleveland.com. He has appeared as a commentator on local and national television and radio programs.
Furthermore, he has collaborated on three documentary films, including “The Girlfriends Club,” named Best Ohio Short at the 2011 Cleveland International Film Festival. When off his duties, he loves riding bikes and snowboarding with his wife and two daughters.
