Marla Tellez is a two-time Emmy award winner and American news anchor for KTTV-TV based in Los Angeles, California. She currently anchors the 12pm newscast & reports for FOX11 News at 5pm & 6pm. Tellez is also well known for appearing in AMC’s hit, ‘Breaking Bad’ television show. she went to Analy High School and later joined Sonoma State University where she graduated with a degree in Political Science.
Tellez joined the team of Good Day L.A., the local Fox morning news in Los Angeles, California, in January of 2014 as a news anchor. She was re-assigned to KTTV’s early morning news program as co-anchor alongside Tony McEwing in late May of that same year.
Prior to joining KTTV-TV, Marla worked as an anchor for KNTV news, the local NBC news in San Jose, California. Before that, she served as a producer and correspondent for CBS in San Francisco. Previously, Tellez also worked as an anchor at KOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Moreover, during her time in New Mexico, Marla appeared in an episode of the hit show Breaking Bad as a news anchor.
