Jennifer Gould is an American Award-winning journalist currently working as a reporter for the KTLA 5 Morning News in Los Angeles. Her broadcast experience spans over two decades, gaining experience from breaking news and highlights to the wide world of health, sports, and entertainment.
A native of Los Angeles, Gould attended the University of Southern California double majoring in broadcast journalism and political science.
She is currently a renowned broadcasting reporter in the United States after working at KTLA 5 Morning News since 2009. Before joining KTLA, Jennifer served as a sports anchor and reporter at KTTV-TV; covering the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL. From 1996 to 1999, Gould worked as a morning anchor and general assignment reporter. She was then promoted to serve as a weekend anchor of the noon and 5:30 p.m. newscasts. Simultaneously, Jennifer hosted “The Scene,” an entertainment show; was the weekday morning newsreader for WMXJ-FM, and produced, wrote, and anchored “Wednesday’s Child,” profiling children available for adoption.
Jennifer won the “National Leader of the Future Award” from the Simon Wiesenthal Center for helping to place 22 children in loving homes. She was also featured on the cover of “Dimensions Magazine” for her achievement. Having been adopted herself, Gould has also written a semi-autobiographical book about adoption, “The Missing Piece,” awaiting publication.
Over the years, Jennifer follows her passion for finding homes for children. In 2004, she has nominated the honorary chair of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce Foster Family Program.
