Matt Finn Biography
Matt Finn is an American award-winning broadcast journalist currently serving as a national correspondent for the Fox News Channel, the most-watched cable news channel in the country. He joined the station in 2013 as an Ailes Junior Reporter based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Matt holds a B.A. from Temple University where he was a PR reporter for the Dean at the Fox School of Business, reporter for The Temple News: WRTI Radio student intern, and an anchor intern at NBC 10 for renowned anchor Tracy Davidson. Prior to joining Fox News, Matt worked as a reporter and anchor for CBS KIMA-TV in WA and a producer/reporter at NBC WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Matt has earned several awards including two from the Society of Professional Journalists in the competitive category of investigative reporting. Recently, he won Chicago’s prestigious Lisagor Award for Best In-Depth Broadcast Series and was honored by Kappa Tau Alpha with the Keith P. Sanders Award for excellence and leadership in the profession.
Finn made headlines when he uncovered shocking information while investigating the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida. He also extensively covered historic hurricanes, Harvey, in Texas and Irma in Florida. Matt reported Donald Trump’s rallies for the 2016 election in more than 15 states.
Matt modeled his professionalism at NBC 10 where he served as an anchor intern for 4 months. Afterward, he worked as a reporter for The Temple News fr a year and a half. In November 2011, he joined KIMA-Tv as a reporter and anchor, working for almost two years.
