Matt Maisel is an American journalist who is currently working as a director of communications in the City of Harrisburg since March 2022. Prior to this, he worked as a news reporter and anchor at WPMT-FOX43 from April 2015 to March 2022.
Maisel attended and graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, where classmates got him to do the morning news and sportscasts in-house. He went on to graduate from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2007.
Prior to joining FOX43, he spent more than seven years as a sports reporter and sports director at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA. While there, he wrote about the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal at Penn State.
