Matthew Seedorff Biography
Matthew Seedorff is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter at FOX 26 Huston. He is sports and outdoors enthusiast and marathon runner. Prior to joining his current station, he worked as a reporter at WOA/KABB where he covered many national stories, including Hurricane Harvey.
He attended and graduated from Auburn University. Later on, he joined George Washington University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism. He also played on the school’s Division 1 baseball team.
He was an Orange ambassador for the Bowie Baysox from May 2013 to August 2012. There, he conducted post-game interviews and helped promote the team throughout the community. He also wrote game-day summaries, program articles, and press releases.
In August 2013, he joined Chipotle Mexican Grill as a Student Brand Manager. However, in April 2014, he left for a position at NBCUniversal. After 10 months at NBCUniversal, he left in May 2014. In late May of the same year, he joined KTWO TV as an evening news anchor.
While there, he anchored and produced the station’s 5, 6, and 10 pm newscasts from Monday through Friday. After 3 years of service, he left the station in May of 2017. In late May of the same year, he joined KABB Fox 29 as a full-time television news reporter. After 2 years and 8 months, he left the station. In January 2020, he joined fox 26 Huston, Texas as a television news reporter. He has been working here ever since.
