Mike Buresh is an American broadcast meteorologist currently serving as the chief weather anchor for the Action News stations like WJAX/WFOX based in Jacksonville, Florida. He joined the station after working as a full-time employee for WHO News in Des Moines, Iowa. Buresh now presents the stations’ evening newscasts at 06:30 pm and 10 pm on both WJA TV and WFOX News. His most compelling and prominent stories on the show include tracking hurricanes, chasing storms across Florida and delivering the latest weather updates both within the state and nationally.
Bureshh was born and raised by two wonderful native American parents living in Iowa, United States. He grew up as a very clever kid who developed a passion to pursue weather when he was very young.
