Mike Max Biography
Mike Max is a renowned American sports Director currently working at WCCO-TV. He rejoined the station as a sports reporter and anchor in April 2005, after having joined and worked for WCCO Radio in 1998.
Max attended Hamline University where he nurtured his talents on the court and on the diamond, playing basketball and baseball for the Pipers. He then started his career as an intern at WCCO-TV. Later on, he was hired as a sports producer and soon began reporting for WCCO-TV.
Mike is no stranger to Minnesota sports where he hosts “Sports To The Max” every weeknight from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on WCCO Radio. Before joining the radio show, Max hosted Sports Connections on the Midwest Sports Channel.
As of today, Mike is a sports director at WCCO-TV. In his leisure time, Mike enjoys working out, hunting, and spending time with his family (wife, daughter, and son).
