Neil Fischer is an American journalist who is currently working as a multiskilled journalist at WKYC in Cleveland. He joined the station in April 2022 and is actually thrilled to be back in the Midwest. Neil comes to 3News from KAPP-KVEW in Kennewick, Washington, where he served as an MMJ, reporter, and anchor for two years.
Talking about his education, he attended and graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting. At the University, he hosted a radio show, announced play-by-play for a variety of sports, and was also playing baseball.
Fischer comes from a family that is devoted to serving the community and his father, grandfather, uncle, and cousin make up more than 115 years of service with the St. Louis Fire Department. His sister on the other hand is a pediatric nurse. When off his duties, Neil enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
