She worked as a reporter and anchor for Chapman News where she produced a groundbreaking investigative report, “Secrets of Shambhala” which covered allegations of sexual harassment on a Chapman travel course which led to the cancellation of the course.
In 2020, the report was named the winner of the 2020 Student Murrow Award for Excellence in Video Reporting. Later, she gained experience in the news industry by interning at NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Dateline NBC, and NBC Los Angeles, where she worked with legendary political reporter Conan Nolan.
