Paige Reffe is an American lawyer serving as the co-founder of the Law Office of Paige E. Reffe, where he deals with clients on federal and international matters. He is also famous for being the husband of Dr. Deborah Birx, an American lawyer who served as the founding partner at the Law Office of Paige e Reffe.
Earlier on, Paige worked as the Deputy Assistant & Director of Advance for Bill Clinton. Under this position, he had to execute the President and First Lady’s trip. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of the United States to expand NATO. Furthermore, between 2000 and 2002, Reffe served on the Visitor’s Board of the United States Airforce Academy.
Paige is a renowned American attorney whose career span over 20 years in Washington, D.C. He has practiced law in both the private and public sectors. Adding to his expertise, Reffe worked as a trial attorney with the Tax Division, United States Department of Justice (1979-1983). While in the position, he specialized in bankruptcy and civil tax matters.
In 1988, Paige joined the Cutter and Stanfield law firm. Taking his career a notch higher, Reffe moved to Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority to work as the chief outside counsel between 1990 and 1993. He manned legal matters while providing guidelines and advice on both day-day management of the agency and developing long-term strategies.
Furthermore, Paige established his own law firm in 1998 with his main clients being federal and international bodies. In addition, he founded the Reffe Group which specializes in internal events. Paige represents the Governments of Albania, Romania, and Slovakia in Washington, D.C.
Between 1995 and 1996, Paige worked as the Deputy Assistant and Director of Advance for Bill Clinton. He held the responsibilities for the execution of the President and Initial Lady’s journeys. As part of his task, Reffe led site survey and pre-advance teams for all of the President’s foreign travels and in that capacity was the principal negotiator with foreign governments regarding the president’s visits.
