Quinta Brunson Biography
Quinta Brunson is an American Internet personality, comedian and actor who rose to fame for starring in an ABC comedy series called Abbott Elementary since 2021. She is also the creating and executive director of the show. Quinto even gained more fame for hosting her own Instagram series called Girl Who Has Never Been on a Nice Date and producing content for BuzzFeed videos and Buzz Feed Motion Pictures.
Brunson was born and brought up in the suburbs of West Philadelphia. Her first name Quinta means the fifth in Spanish and it is also used to signify that she grew up as the youngest child in a family of five children. Brunson was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness believer and enthusiast. She attended and finished her high school education at Charter High School for Architecture & Design where she also polished her talent in Improv. Quinta then enrolled at Temple University but dropped out in her sophomore year in order to pursue a full-time career in comedy.

Brunson launched her comedy career by doing videos on her Instagram account in 2014. She named her videos Girl Who Ha Never Been on a Nice Date series. Quinat’s videos went viral and earned her a huge fan base online. The popularity of her videos earned her the opportunity to finally work for BuzzFeed Video after working as a Freelancer a few years back. In 2016, she was able to do two scripted comedy web series called Broke and Youtube Red which he wrote and produced for Buzzfeed.
In 2018, Quinta was able to co-star in a CW series called The End of the World as We Know It after she left BuzzFeed. However, the show was never picked by the network. Quinta then launched another comedy series called Quinta Vs Everything which aired on Facebook. In 2019, Quinta gained national recognition for starring on HBO’s comedy sketch called A Black Lady Sketch Show. Her other famous roles are in Big Mouth (2019 to 2021), Lazor Wulf (2019 to 2021), Magical Girl Friendship Squad (2020), Miracle Workers (2021), and more.
