Rhys Coiro Biography
Rhys Coiro is an American actor who gained national recognition for playing Billy Walsh’s role in Entourage and Donny Blaze in a 2022 Marvel series called She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. He is also known for starring in films like Look (2007), Making Revolution (2003) and Life Happens and Hustlers (2019). Coiro also played supporting roles in famous TV series like Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, The Walking Dead, USA’s Graceland and S.W.A.T.
Coiro was born in Santo Stefano in Promote Calabria In Spain, Italy but he grew up in Prince Town New Jersey after his parents emigrated to the United States when he was a kid. He then attended and graduated from Princeton High School. Rhys also spent time working at a famous local artist’s workshop when he was a teenager. The artist even introduced him to June Ballinger, a theatre director. Rhys even spent his summer time building theatre sets and operating the lights at the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. Coiro earned his BFA degree from Melon University.
Rhys made his acting debut at the age of nineteen by playing three roles in an off-Broadway play called This Lime Tree Bower. He then landed the main role of Eddie the Bellhop in a Lincoln Center revival play called Dinner at Eight. From there, Rhys moved to Los Angeles, California and bagged his breakthrough role as Billy Walsh on Entourage and also appeared as a cast member on The Last House on The left which boosted his prominence as an actor. Coiro’s most recent roles are in Hustlers (2019), Paradise City (2021) and She Hulk-Attorney at Law.
