Tyson Ngo also known as TenZ is a Canadian professional Valorant player who is currently playing for Sentinels. Ngo also is a Twitch streamer and social media influencer. He is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player known for his time on Cloud9. Prior, he is one of the Famous Content creators on Twitch and Youtube.Ngo has more than 2 million followers on his TenZ Twitch channel and over 900,000 followers on his Instagram page.
TenZ started gaming CS: GO at an early age while still in middle school. At 15, he attended his first LAN event called Fragadelphia in Philadelphia. After acquiring the skill and experience in the game, he moved on to the MD and then ESEA. Thereafter, Ngo set a target to reach the coveted S-rank in the game, something eventually he did. In 2019, Ngo joined Cloud9’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, just after he graduated from high school. After three months of absence from his professional Valorant, Tyson was loaned to join Sentinels in April 2021, after the suspension of Sentinels player Sinatraa. Months later, he went on to defeat Fnatic at the Grand Finals of VCT Masters 2 in Reykjavík, winning the first-ever international LAN tournament in Valorant history. In June of that year, Sentinels bought out Ngo’s contract in a seven-figure deal reportedly worth between $1.25 to $1.5 million. Moreover, TenZ has been nominated for multiple events including Best Esports Athlete in 2021, Esports PC Player of the Year, and the Esports PC Rookie of the Year award at the Esports Awards in the same year. The following year, he was nominated for the Best FPS Streamer at The Streamer Awards.
