Robin Baumgarten is a three-time Emmy American winner who currently co-anchors the WGN Morning News from 6-10 am. She joined the show back in 1996 as an airborne traffic reporter and transportation reporter. Previously, she worked as a reporter in Chicago at Shadow Broadcast Services.
Baumgarten was born and raised in South suburban Burbank, Illinois, the United States of America. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a proud Illini alumna where she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
