Roger Lodge is a renowned American television game show and sports radio host, actor, radio personality, writer, and producer. His acting credits include appearing on the ABC sitcom Full House; Yes, Dear, and UPN’s The Parkers. Roger also appeared in the Tony Scott film The Fan and Not of this Earth, 19988.

Currently, Roger is the host of The SportsLodge on radio station KLAA Am 830, which is owned by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball. He also works as their radio flagship station and the Angels Pre-Game show on AM830 and the Angels Baseball Radio Network. Loge is also a commentator on truTV’s The Smoking Gun Presents: World’s Dumbest.

Roger Lodge Early Life

Lodge was born Roger Chavez in Fontana, California, and raised in Lakewood, California. As he was growing up, Roger was a start basketball guard at Cerritos High School when he was teammates with Ben Howland. He also played basketball at Whittier College in addition to playing several minor roles in the entertainment industry for several years. Notably, he was a regular guest host for the program Talk Soup, on E! Entertainment Television.

Lodge also hosted his own half-hour weekly show for the Sci-Fi Channel called S.F Vortex, revolving around Science fiction news with roundtable discussions.

Lodge hosted the syndicated dating show Blind Date from 1999 through 2006. He has hosted The Price Is Right Live! stage shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as a new game show called Camouflage on GSN, which he began hosting in July 2007. In December 2007, he also filled in for Jim Rome on ESPN’s Jim Rome Is Burning.

In 2004, he hosted ESPN’s Trivial Pursuit game show. Lodge joined station KLAC (formerly AM 570 Sports) as a fill-in host in late 2005. He also acts as the Gender Bowl’s play-by-play announcer.
