Ron Hoon Biography

Ron Hoon is an American anchor and reporter working for Fox 10 in Phoenix, Arizona as the anchor of the station’s morning newscast on weekdays from 4:30 am to 10 am.

He has been serving the station since 1982 when he joined the station (then called KOOL-TV). He is very proud of his job and has been notable saying; “I have the best job in the world”, I meet the most interesting people—and something always happens on the show that gets us laughing.”

Hoon is very involved in community service, donating many hours to charities like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Waste Not Foundation. Moreover, he is passionate about reading and visits classrooms across the Valley every year to promote literacy and motivate students to read.
