Rubi Rose is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, model, social media influencer, and entrepreneur who gained fame as the main model for the hip-hop group Migos’ music video for the single “Bad and Boujee”. She however came to the limelight after releasing her debut album For The Streets in 2020. As a model, she has collaborated with various famous magazine brands.
After her family decided to move to Seville, Georgia, Rose studied politics at Georgia State University. While growing up Rose loved music a lot. She listened to people like Prince, Michael Jackson, Biggie, Marvin Gaye, and Chaka Khan. Some of the biggest influences in her career are Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Foxy Brown.
Her breakthrough came through when she was featured as the main model for the hip-hop group Migos’ music video for the single “Bad and Boujee”. She then started releasing her own music and made traction in 2019 with her single “Big Mouth”. Later on, she made a cameo appearance in Cardi B’s music video WAP.
