Sandra Shaw is a renowned American meteorologist currently working as a morning meteorologist and host at WPBF 25 News in West Palm Beach. Previously, Sandra worked for four years as a meteorologist and reporter at WBAL in Baltimore.
Sandra earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi, where she also competed in track and cross country. She’s worked in a variety of television markets, including Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mobile, Alabama. She loves South Florida and is involved in her church as well as a number of humanitarian organizations.
Sandra wakes up South Florida viewers weekdays (4:30-7:00 a.m.) on WPBF 25 News Mornings, where she kicks off their day with her accurate and high-energy Certified Most Accurate Forecasts, which she then takes to WPBF 25 News at 9 a.m.

Sandra decided to pursue her Meteorology degree following Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. She’s polished her weather skills since then, traveling to cover severe weather ranging from snow to thunderstorms, with a focus on hurricanes.
During her free time, Sandra loves running, playing tennis, and going to the beach. In addition, she is an avid reader and writer who is currently working on a series of short stories.
