Scott Van Pelt is a famous American sportscaster and sports talk show host. Additionally, he also co-anchored the 11 p.m. edition of Sportscenter on ESPN and worked as the co-host of SVP and Russillo.
As for his studies, Scott attended Flower Valley Elementary School in Rockville, Maryland. Later, he graduated and joined Sherwood High School in Sandy Springs, Maryland. Moreover, after completing his high school studies, he attended the University of Maryland, where he studied radio/television and film and graduated in 1988.
Pelt began his career in broadcasting in the early 1990s. He worked in different stations including, WTTG-TV, a Fox affiliate in Washington, and also at the Golf Channel. He was a studio host for some of the network’s core programs. However, he left the channel in 2001 to join ESPN, serving as a sportscaster.
Furthermore, later in 2009, Van Pelt began co-hosting the SVP and Rusillo show on ESPN which he left later in 2015. He also served as a commentator in golf video games alongside stars like Kelly Tilghman and Tiger Woods.
