Hannah Storm Biography
Hannah Storm, born Hannah Lynn Storen Hicks, is a famous American sportscaster currently working for ESPN, serving as the anchor for its SportsCenter. Besides that, Storm was also host of the NBA Countdown pregame show on ABC.
As for her studies, Hannah attended and graduated from Westminister Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, in 1983 she also graduated from the University of Notre Dame. However, while at Notre Dame, she worked for WNDU-TV, owned by NBC. Later, after graduation, she got a job as a disc jockey at KNCN, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Furthermore, Hannah worked in different other stations including, KSRR 97 Rock, and KTXH television, and worked as a weekend sports anchor on WCNC-TV 36, from 1988 to 1989. From there she moved to CNN where she began her national experience serving as the first female host on CNN Sports Tonight.
Later in 1992, Stormed transitioned to NBC. There, she covered the Olym pic Gmaes, NBA, and WNBA basketball. Also, figure skating, National Football League, and Major League Baseball. However, after around 10 years of service, on October 28, 2002, Hannah moved to CBS News becoming one of the hosts of The Early Show.
While at CBS, Storm covered various major news events, including Hurricane Katrina, Super Bowls XXXVIII, and the Iraq War among others. After her service in CBS, later in November 2007, CBS announced that she was leaving The Early Show. She later joined ESPN on May 10, 2008.
