Scott Williams is an American journalist who is working as a meteorologist and a weather anchor at FOX 29 which he joined back in 2012. Before joining FOX 29, Scott spent three years at The Weather Channel in Atlanta covering weather across the country. He developed his passion for meteorology while he was a child in South Carolina.
Him being a Hurricane Hugo survivor, he became fascinated with the weather and chose it as a career. Williams took his time and taught meteorology to academically gifted students as a part of the talent identification program for Duke University.
Williams graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University where he pursued and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology.
