Shepard Smith is a veteran American broadcast journalist working for NBC News and CNBC. Smith serves as a chief general news anchor and host for The News with Shepard Smith, a daily evening newscast launched in late 2020.

He is best known for his 23-years of service at Fox News channel having joined the station in 1996. During his tenure, Smith served as a chief anchor and managing editor of the station’s breaking news division. Furthermore, he hosted several programs such as; Fox Report, Studio B, and Shepard Smith Reporting.
