Sorboni Banerjee is an American journalist currently working at Fox 13 News, WTVT, Tampa, Florida as a weekend anchor and consumer reporter with a commitment to helping viewers save money, and time, and get the most out of their busy lives. Banerjee joined the station’s team in June 2015. Moreover, from August 2020 till the present, she has hosted a talk show ” Find Your Fairytale in Tampa, Florida.
Since November 2017, Sorboni has been an author. She began her childhood by reading, drawing, writing, and daydreaming about stories. Her parents mentored her thru storytelling and taught her to love stories, which probably led her to be an author. Moreover, Sorboni is the author of a young novel, novel HideMe, With Me which was published on October 23, 2018.
Previously, before Sorboni joined Fox 13, she served as a morning news anchor at WFXT Boston 25 News from June 2012 to May 2015. Moreover, Sorboni was an anchor and reporter for 7 News, WHDH-TV, in Boston from November 2006 to April 2012. She was a morning anchor and reporter, covering breaking news, featuring sports, and served as the political correspondent for the NH primaries in 2008 and 2012. While Banerjee was still working at WHDH-TV, she was an Emcee at the American India Foundation where she hosted the signature Boston fundraising gala for the non-profit.

Moreover, Banarjee was a morning news anchor at WLNE ABC 6 from January 2003 to February 2006. She started her career as a news anchor and reporter at WDVN-TV, Hagerstown as a news anchor and reporter. Sorboni attended South Kingstown High School. Later on, in 1998, she enrolled at Boston University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism and international relations.
During her free time, Sorboni loves going to the beach with her husband and baby boy, working on her young adult novels, and trying Tamora’s awesome restaurants.
