Stacia Willson is an American meteorologist who is currently working at KENS 5 based in San Antonio, Texas, the United States. Prior to joining KENS5 in November 2007, she started her career at KVHP based in Lake Charles, Los Angeles.
Willson attended a local high school and later furthered her studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with honors. She then joined Mississippi State University in 2015 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Meteorology in 2017.
Following her graduation, she began her career at KVHP based in Lake Charles, Los Angeles. While there, she reported stories across the state like the capture of the South Louisiana Serial Killer and the plight of the Nutria rats. Stacia also served at KLBK 13based in Lubbock, Texas as the lead crime reporter in 2014.
Before joining KENS 5, she worked at WWL based in New Orleans as a reporter and meteorologist. However, she left the station and joined KENS 5 in 2007. Since then she has been working here as a meteorologist for Eyewitness News at Noon and also provides traffic and weather reports in the afternoon newscasts.
