Stephanie Buffamonte is an American Emmy-Award nominated journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at FOX 35 since November of 2019. Before, joining her current station, she worked as a reporter for WDJT (CBS 58) from September 2017 to November 2019 which is when she also joined her current station.
While at WDJT, she covered the city’s lead crisis, reckless driving epidemic, and many stories that impacted the community. In addition, she has also worked for WSAW-TV as a multimedia reporter and weekend anchor from January 2015 to January 2017. Prior to this, she worked for WBBM-TV as a CBS Investigator Intern for five months.
Nevertheless, she has also worked for other TV stations like NBC News as NBC5 Chicago Investigative Unit Intern, and WTTW Chicago PBS as an intern at Chicago Tonight. Furthermore, she has also worked for radio stations like Chicago Public Media as an intern at Vocalo Radio and also for WLUW FM 88.7 as a Raio News Correspondent.
