Steve Kuzj Biography
Steve Kuzj is an American journalist currently working as a general assignment reporter at KTLA since April 2013. Before moving to Los Angeles, Steve worked fr the ABC affiliate in Phoenix as a multimedia journalist and anchor. In addition, he spent time in Atlanta reporting for CBS.
A Minnesota native, Kuzj found a passion for storytelling and journalism in high school. He followed his passion at the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a degree in journalism and business.
Over the years, Steve has received numerous Emmy nominations, winning for “Best On-Air Reporter.”
When he is not reporting, Kuzj loves tinkering with electronics, hitting the gym, hiking mountains, and scuba diving. Moreover, he is a wilderness survival expert, Eagle Scout. If you see on the streets reporting, feel free to go up and say hi. However, bad guys are warned as Steve has a second-degree black belt in mixed martial arts and has been doing karate since he was just 5 years old.
