Stuart A. Varney is a British-American journalist who is currently working as a talk show host and conservative political commentator at Fox News and Fox Business Network. Moreover, he currently co-hosts Varney & Co. on the Fox Business Network. The show airs from 9 am to noon every weekday. Furthermore, the show is co-hosted by Susan Li Ashley Webster. He has also appeared on “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”

After working as a reporter at Radio Hong Kong, Stuart began his broadcasting career at KEMO-TV, in San Francisco. He then went on to host CNN shows Business Day, Business Asia, and Moneyline. However, he left CNN to host CNBC’s “Wall Street Journal Editorial Board with Stuart Varney. Most notably, he joined Fox News’s business team in January 2004. Stuart Varney joined FOX Business Network (FBN) in 2007. In addition, he also serves as the host of FBN Prime’s American Built, a series that showcases the ingenuity behind some of the country’s most iconic landmarks.
Throughout his career with the network, Varney has interviewed leading tycoons of business, politics, sports and entertainment, including the former New England Patriots all-star turned entrepreneur Rob Gronkowski. Furthermore, he also interviewed National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission Ajit Pai, and United States Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, among others. Most recently, Varney contributed to FBN’s 2022 Midterm Election panel alongside Maria Bartiromo, Charles Payne and Larry Kudlow.
Before, he was also a co-anchor of CNN’s Moneyline News Hour and helped launch CNN’s business news team in 1980. Varney also hosted many of their financial programs including, Your Money, Business Day and Business Asia.
