Tim Cowlishaw is an American journalist who currently working as a sportswriter and is a columnist for The Dallas Morning News. He also works as a regular panelist on the ESPN sports talk show Around the Horn. Cowlishaw attended a local high school and later attended and graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Later on, he joined the Dallas Morning News in 1989 and became the lead sports columnist for the paper in 1998. While at the Morning News, he was a beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys. Additionally, he covered Oklahoma Sooners football for The Daily Oklahoman and the San Francisco Giants. Until 2020, he co-hosted Denniss and Cowlishaw. Which was a late afternoon sports talk show.
