Tony Dokoupil is an American journalist currently serving as the co-anchor of CBS This Morning since joining the station in 2016. He is a correspondent for CBS News and is well known as the author of a book titled The Last Pirate. His book was about a father, his son, and the age of marijuana. Previously, he worked for NBC and MSNBC.
Dokoupil started his career in journalism while he was studying at the university. His first workplace was at Newsweek’s Periscope section, where he got the opportunity to do some writing and editing work. Likewise, he got a better job as a senior writer for The Daily Beast and Newsweek after three years.
Similarly, he started working for NBC News in 2013. Later, after three years he also joined MSNBC as its journalist. Then, he moved from MSNBC to CBS Channel News in 2016 where he works as a journalist.
