Trevor Noah Biography
Trevor Noah is a South African stand-up comedian, political commentator, Tv show host, actor, and producer. He is famous for being the host of American’s comic news program, The Daily Show on Comedy Central.
He started his career back in 2002 while still in South Africa, his homeland. This was through a role in an episode in the then South African soap opera Isidingo. He later began hosting his own radio show, Noah’s Ark on YFM, a Gauteng’s leading youth radio station. However, he dropped his radio show to focus on comedy.
In his Comedy career, he worked with other South African comedians such as; David Kau, Kagiso Lediga, Marc Lottering, Barry Hilton, Riaad Moosa, Darren Simpson, and Nik Rabinowitz. He further worked with international comedians like Paul Rodriguez, Carl Barron, Dan Ilic, and Paul Zerdin. Moreover, he opened both the Gabriel Iglesias Show in November 2007 and Russell Peters during their South African tour.
In 2011, Trevor relocated to the United States. In January 2012, he became the first South African stand-up comedian to feature on the Tonight Show. Similarly, he became the first African to feature on Late Show with David Letterman.
