Tyler Eliasen Biography
Tyler Eliasen is an American meteorologist currently working as a meteorologist at Fox 13 News since July 2017. Eliasen joined WVTV after a short break from WMBB News 13 in Panama City, Florida where he worked as a morning and midday meteorologist.
Tyler is a Chicago native and attended Valparaiso University where he graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology. While in school, Tyler started his career working as an intern meteorologist at WAGA in Atlanta, WGN in Chicago, and WTTG in Washington, D.C.
After his graduation, Eliasen relocated to the Gulf Coast, working for WMBB in Panama City, Florida. While there, he covered numerous tropical and severe weather events while serving as the morning and midday meteorologist. In February 2015, Tyler was awarded the CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) designation by the American Meteorological Society.
Hen he is not working, Tyler loves been out. You can easily find Tyler on the golf course, out for an evening run, spending an afternoon on the beach with his wife Julie, and firing up the grill any chance he gets.
