Tyler Posey is an American actor and musician famous for playing the central character Scott McCall in the MTV series Teen Wolf (2011-2017). He won a number of youth acting awards, including a Teen Choice Award, and was even nominated for several others.
As a youngster, he performed in a number of children’s film and television roles, for which he was twice nominated for a Young Artist Award. He was famous for his roles in Doc (2001-2004) and Maid in Manhattan (2002). In 2007, he auditioned for the role of Jacob Black but lost the role to his friend Taylor Lautner.
In the same year, he voiced a character in SheZow, which aired on May 4, 2007. Posey co-starred in the film White Frog in 2012. On May 24, 2017, he was cast as Lucas Moreno in the Blumhouse supernatural thriller film Truth or Dare which was released on April 13, 2018. On September 25 of the same year, it was announced that he would join the third season of Scream starring Shane.
Posey joined the cast of The Lost Boys on February 20, 2019, where he starred as Michael Emerson. On November 18, he was cast in Fast & Furious: Spy Racers which premiered on December 26, 2019. In September 2021, it was announced that a reunion film for 2011 Teen Wolf would be released on January 26, 2023, where he reprised his role as Scot McCall.
