Vivian Brown Biography
Vivian Brown is a renowned American television meteorologist who served on the Weather Channel. Most recently, she was a co-host of Weather Center Live from noon to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Brown joined the Weather Channel from 1986 until 2015. Previously, she co-hosted Day Planner until it was terminated in 2013 and replaced by the all-day form of Weather Center Live.
Brown spent 29 years with The Weather Channel and, from 2003 to 2006, hosted Afternoon Outlook; from 2006 to 2010: PM Edition Weekend; from 2010 to 2013: Day Planner; and from 2013 to 2015, Weather Center Live.
On September 1, 2015, during her last broadcast, she revealed that she will be leaving the Weather Channel. She stated, “I do not know exactly where I’m going next but I do know for sure that it will be in accordance with God’s will.”
Regarding her schooling, Brown attended Jackson State University, where she obtained a degree in meteorology in 1986.
