Zak Bagans is an American actor, Tv personality, author, museum operator, and paranormal investigator/ ghost hunter. He is popular and well known for his appearance in the Warner Bros, Travel Channel series Ghost Adventures. He is also the founder of the (GAC) Ghost Adventures Crew.
Zak went to Glenbard West High School located at the corner of Ellyn Avenue and Crescent Boulevard in Glen Ellyn, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, United States. He is also a graduate of the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan. Not much is mentioned about his University or College studies and his further educational progress. However, was seen to be attending Western Michigan University for 8 months.

He became interested in the paranormals and started working on documentary films after he encountered the spirit of a Suicidal woman who haunted his old apartment building in Trenton, Michigan. This led him up in producing his docu-drama project titled Ghost Adventures in 2004. The film aired on the NBC Universal TV, SciFi Channel in 2007 and was later premiered on Travel Channel for 19 seasons in 2008 and 2009.
Nevertheless, he has released an American Paranormal reality TV miniseries, Deadly Possessions, that aired on Travel Channel on April 2nd, 2016. On the other hand, Zac as an author co-wrote a book with Kelly Crigger named Dark World: Into the Shadows with the Lead Investigator of the Ghost Adventures Crew. Bagans also published the book Ghost-Hunting for Dummies, outlining the history of ghost-hunting, including true events and stories and famous cases or investigations.
