Alice Kang Biography
Alice Kang is an American journalist who is currently working as a morning news anchor and reporter at NBC 5 News Today. She joined the station in August 2018 and has helped launch the first 4:30 am newscast in the market. Most notably, she enjoys her weekly segment, Motivation Mondays, telling stories about people doing good deeds.
Following her formal credentials, Alice graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mass Communication and hospitality tourism management. During her tenure in West Lafayette, she was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She was also involved in College Mentors for Kids.
After graduating, she worked in Rock Island, Illinois as a reporter. She has the opportunity to go along with a group of veterans on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. Later on, she moved to Madison, Wisconsin as an Anchor and Reporter.
