Brooke Fletcher Biography
Brooke Fletcher is an American journalist who currently works as a reporter and digital host for Bally Sports Detroit where she covers the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. Moreover, she is a digital host and reporter for Fox Sports Detroit from July 2018 to the present. Prior to this, she was a correspondent for 7 years and 3 months at ESPNU.
She attended Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville, Georgia, and graduated in 2010. Additionally, she is a graduate of Auburn University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing. While at the university, she worked with directors and crew from The Weinstein Company to create a series of videos to be played at Auburn University football games. She was also the host of Auburn University’s freshman send-off video.
She was also a morning intern from May 2012 to August 2012 at WGN-TV where she was a booking assistant in guest relations. Additionally, she was a production intern at Comcast Sportsnet Chicago from May 2013 to August 2013. She was also a stage manager at Tedx from March 2013 to March 2014 where she helped coordinate, set up, and produce Tedx Conference at Auburn University.
Furthermore, she was Miss Georgia USA in Miss Universe Organisation where she worked with several Charities and Organisations around Georgia including Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She also gave several speeches on various occasions and conducted interviews with media outlets within Georgia and nationally.
Brooke was an associate director from July 2014 to July 2018. She assisted the director in exciting live television productions from the control room by making the decision for the production crew and technical crew involved. Furthermore, she also confirmed that the video portions of assigned shows were cued and fed.
Fletcher was also a correspondent for 7 years and 3 months at ESPNU where she created and facilitated segments for ESPNU digital content. Additionally, she conducted on-camera interviews. She also wrote and edited scripts for each segment.
Currently, she is a digital host and reporter for both Fox Sports and Bally Sports. She joined both areas in July 2018.
