Arran Andersen Biography
Arran Andersen is an American sports anchor currently working at 9News in Denver since October 2019. Before joining 9news, Arran worked as a weekend sports anchor at WNCN in Raleigh. Andersen attended the Mass Media Institute at Stanford University, pursuing a certificate in Broadcast Journalism. He also received a degree in communications from UC Davis.

In 2014, Arran joined the KOLD in Tucson, Arizona as the station’s sports anchor/reporter. At the station, he got his first taste of major sports covering the Arizona Diamondbacks, the annual PGA Tour stop, and the Arizona basketball team during their NCAA Tournament runs of 2004, 2005, and 2006. Andersen also co-hosted a drive-time sports talk radio show called “The Shootout.”
Arran returned home to Northern California in 2006 working as a sports director for CBS13 in Sacramento. He hosted the “Sports Show” on Saturdays and Sundays, providing sports features during the week.
In 2009, Arran stepped away from sports to host an entertainment show in Las Vegas called ” More Access.” While the experience was “entertaining.”
