Susan Hendricks is an American anchor for HLN and a substitute anchor for CNN based in the station’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Hendricks often appeared on CNN Pipeline, CNN.com’s on-demand broadband news service.

Susan was made the host of Weekend Express replacing Lynn Smith who took over On the Story. In addition, she fills in for Robin Meade on Morning Express with Robin Meade. Susan is also well-known for her work as a crime victim advocate. She received multiple awards in 2017 for her outstanding work on the killings of two young children in Delphi.

She joined the NBC affiliate KMIR, where she anchored a two-hour morning show, after two years in the field. She moved to Atlanta after a few years with KMIR and joined CNN Headline News, where she anchored the weekend and primetime news shows. Susan reported on breaking news.

Hendricks also served as a correspondent for the entertainment section of the show. She also hosted a CNN interactive news site on CNN.com while at CNN.

Hendricks relocated from Atlanta to Los Angeles to work for DIRECTV’s interactive news channel. Her limited public exposure and work schedule, however, prompted her to return to Headline News in September 2005.
