Billy Gardell is an American actor and stand-up comedian who rose to fame for playing the role of Chicago police officer, Mike Biggs on Mike & Molly. She even gained more fame for playing the recurring role of Billy Colivida on Yes, Dear. Gardell then voiced a character called Santa in a popular movie called Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas (2011). He then gained more fame in 2019 after playing the lead role on CBS’s sitcom called Bob Hearts Absihola.
Gardell was born in the suburbs of Swissvae, Pennsylvania but he grew up in Orange County, Florida. Billy then attended and graduated from Winter Park High School based in Florida. He also grew up as the oldest sibling who took care of his younger siblings when they moved to Florida after their parents divorced.
Gardell also worked at a department store warehouse in the receiving area where he continued to work even after his high school graduation. He was a member of the International Thespian Society Troupe 850 and the Ben Rock of The Blair Witch Project.
Billy began his acting career by moving to Los Angeles and playing comedic roles that were influenced by Jackie Gleason. He then played major roles in Bad Santa, You, Me & Dupree and Bad Santa before appearing on Mike & Molly.
