Bob Nunnally is a renowned American meteorologist who is currently working for NBC4 Today in the morning and NBC4 Midday. He is also a well-known personality in Central Ohio for more than 25 years on TV and radio.
Bob is a member of the National Weather Association and a recipient of the certificate of broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. She graduated from the institution after extensive coursework and a training workshop in Birmingham, Ala.
He has also worked as an entertainment reporter for the station, screening, and reviewing new movies as well as conducting satellite interviews with various television and movie stars.
Bob broadcasts live weather and also from many Central Ohio events throughout the year. He was the first 10 O’Clock weathercaster in Columbus on the WB 53 Ten O’Clock News from 1994 until the newscast ended in 1997. He then proceeded as a full-time employee at NBC4 after working as a substitute weathercaster for NBC4 for quite some time.
Bob was the afternoon anchor at Sunny 95 (WSNY-FM) radio for 14 years beginning in 1983. In addition, he served as the station’s assistant program director and music director at various times. Nunnally served in the same capacity from 1977 until 1983 at WNCI, where he also co-hosted a public affair program entitled “FYI: Columbus,” which spotlighted community events and organizations.
He has also worked on the board of LifeCare Alliance, the North Columbus YMCA, and the Arthritis Foundation, who honored him for hosting their telethon, the Jingle Bell Run, and various other projects throughout the years.
