Bobby Gonzalez is an American journalist currently working as the creator, producer, and host of the KTLA podcast “Spoken Dreams.” He is also the associate producer for the Emmy Award-winning signature broadcast, L.A.’s No.1 rated KTLA 5 Morning News.
Gonzales graduated with a degree in radio, television, and film from California State University, Fullerton in 2012. Growing up in the City of Whittier, Bobby has invested quite a bit of his energy in both Orange County and L.A. District.
Prior to joining KTLA, he could be seen working at Disneyland’s most famous attraction in Anaheim. In 2012, he became an intern at KTLA. Gonzales was employed as a production assistant by the station after completing his internship and was then promoted to associate producer in 2013.
In 2015, Bobby started co-hosting a side interest digital recording with a companion titled “The Back Issue.” in 2016, he assisted in the dispatch of two KTLA web recordings, working with KTLA anchor Frank Buckley on “Forthcoming Buckley Interviews” and KTLA tech columnist Rich DeMuro on “Tech Smart with Rich DeMuro: America on Demand.”
In 2017, Bobby started delivering his own digital recording for KTLA: “Expressed Dreams.” During his free time, Bobby appreciates acting in theatre. He has a great love for movies, appreciates Old West history, and is eager about pizza and Star Wars.
