Christiane Amanpour Biography
Christiane Amanpour is a British-Iranian journalist and television host best known for serving at CNN as the Chief International Anchor. Moreover, she is also the host of CNN International’s nightly interview program titled Amanpour. Christiane is also the host of a show titled Amanpour & Company on PBS.
As a broadcast journalist, Amanpour has covered some of the world’s notable events for ABC, CNN, and CBS. Previously, she has also worked for CBS Minutes and ABC News.
When she cleared her primary school education in Iran, Christiane went to study in a boarding school in England. Afterward, Amanpour joined Holy Cross Convent, an all-girls school situated in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
Additionally, she has also studied at New Hall School, a Roman Catholic school in Chelmsford, Essex. She moved to the United States and joined the University of Rhode Island. Christiane graduated from the university with a B.A. degree in journalism.
