Cindy Fitzgibbon is an American Meteorologist who is currently working as a Midday Meteorologist for WCVB NewsCenter 5 in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the current station, she worked as a Morning weather forecaster for WFXT FOX25 based in the same state. She also served as a presenter and anchor for a CBS affiliate called KXMB-TV in North Dakota for close to twenty years.

Cindy also worked as a weather reporter for NBC 2 based in Fort Myers, Florida. While there, she was able to cover various climate changes affecting Fort Myers and its environs. In addition, she provided full coverage of the horrible tropical storm that struck southwest Florida in the middle of September 2011. She also worked as a morning meteorologist for WPTZ in Burlington, Vermont before joining NBC 2.

Most notably, Cindy began her career as an intern meteorologist for KXMB-TV before they hired her as a full-time meteorologist for over twenty years. She was awarded her American Meteorological Society membership a few years after her college graduation. In relation to her education, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology from Lyndon State University in Vermont.
