Schuman grew up outside New York City and went to college in Nashville. During his senior years, he interned in St. Louis, so he is quite conversant with most parts of the country.
David also worked in Las Vegas where he covered several stories in the national spotlight, including the October 1 mass shooting and political visits from President Barack Obama and candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
