Marielle Mohs Biography
Marielle Mohs is an American journalist currently working at WCCO-TV as a reporter/multi-media journalist since joining the station in 2019. Mohs is thrilled to be telling stories in her home state of Minnesota.
Marielle often shoots and edits her own stories before going on air. Before joining WCCO-Tv, Nohs worked as a reporter in St. Louis, Missouri at KMOV. At the station, she told featured stories for “St. Louis Proud.”
In 2019, Marielle was nominated for a Midwest Emmy and won a Missouri Broadcasters Award 2019. In St. Louis, Mohs got to cover the 100th PGA Championship and the St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019, both were career highlights!
Mohs grew up in Eden Prairie before relocating to Linden Hills where she joined high school at Benilde-St. Margaret’s. She is a proud graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism Studies and a minor in Spanish and Marketing.
After graduation, Marielle started her carer in Little Rock, Arkansas at KTHV as a producer and quickly transitioned to a reporter. After some time, she eventually became an investigative reporter and then the weekend evening anchor.
Her humble beginnings have been her daily job routine to date. These include scooping ice cream at Sebastian Joe’s in high school and serving buckets of fries at the Fresh French Fries stand at the Minnesota State Fair during her summer breaks in college.
Marielle is an avid lover of skiing, both water, and snow. She went to college in Denver, so she could ski every weekend in the winter. Most of her fans call her “Elle”.
