Hailee Steinfeld is an American actress and singer. She rose to fame after being featured in the series Pitch Perfect and The Edge of Seventeen. Steinfeld has also obtained various accolades for her role in the film True Grit, which includes BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Prior to that, she is also known for her roles in films such as Begin Again, Ender’s Game, Transformers, Arcane, and Dickinson.
She is a native of Tarzana, California, United States. She attended her basic education at Ascension Lutheran School, Conejo Elementary, and Colina Middle School. After that, Hailee was homeschooled for years. Steinfeld started acting at the age of 10 and appeared in several short films like She’s a Fox. After that, she portrayed Mattie Ross in the film True Grit when she was 13 years.
