Heather Holmes is an American journalist who is currently working as a co-anchor of KTVU Channel 2 Weekend News since joining the station in 2006. She worked as a fill-in anchor and reporter for WPXI in New York. Most notably, she hit the headlined after her pulse was stolen in the news van, just outside the Oakland police headquarters.
Following her education, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas. Prior to working for WPXI, Holmes was serving as an anchor and reporter for WCBS. She first served as a writer and field producer.
However, her career started right after graduating when she joined KLBK in Lubbock, Texas as a morning anchor and reporter. In her journey as a journalist she has provided coverage on September 11 terrorist attacks, the Mepham High School Hazing Scandal in Pennsylvania, the Catholic Priest Sex Abuse Scandal in Boston, the Great Blackout of 2003, and other stories that hit national headlines.
