Heather Waldman Biography

Heather Waldman is a Murrow Award-winning meteorologist and Emmy-nominated climate science communicator currently working for WGRZ in Buffalo, New York as an Evening meteorologist. She joined WGRZ in January 2017 from AccuWeather where she served as a Broadcast Meteorologist.

Heather attended Penn State University to pursue a B.A. in Telecommunications. She also graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology from Penn State University in 2013.

After her graduation, Waldman joined NBC 10, WCAU in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania as a weather intern. After working for 4 months, Heather moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as an intern, Sony Experience at NAB, Sony.

Starting May 2013, Heather joined AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania as a forecasting Intern. After working for 7 months, she was employed as a broadcast meteorologist at the station.

In January 2017, Heather joined WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York after working for 3 years as a broadcast meteorologist at AccuWeather.
