Ian Reitz is an American journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter at WVTM 13 in Birmingham, Alabama. You can watch his evening newscasts Monday through Friday. Previously, Reitz worked in Tampa, Florida, where he was the anchor of the morning and noon newscasts at WTSP.
While in Florida, Ian covered Hurricane Irma, the National College Football Championship Game, and traveled with the Tampa Bay Rays to Havana for their memorable baseball game with the Cuban National team.
Prior to moving to Florida, Reitz lived in Nashville, where he was an anchor for the morning news on WSMV. While there, he covered the destructive tornadoes in Lincoln County, President Obama”s visit, and the CMA Fest.
In addition, Ian was awarded as the “Best TV Anchor” by the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters. During his tenure in Music City, Reitz became a huge fan of country music. Ian has also served as an anchor and reporter in Tucson, El Paso, and Palm Springs.
